BUSES TO NEW YORK CITY MAY 17-18

The DC A.N.S.W.E.R. office will be sponsoring buses to
New York City for the May 17-18 National Conference
Against War, Colonial Occupation and Imperialism. For
details about these events, go to
http://internationalanswer.org/campaigns/m3/index.html

DETAILS OF BUSES:

Buses depart Saturday, May 17 at 5 am from 1247 E
St. SE and leave New York City at 5 pm on Sunday,
May 18. Cost is $30-40 (sliding scale) round trip.
Organizers in New York will be working on organizing
group housing at a low cost.

Please note: The DC metro does not open early enough
to make it by 5 am, so you must drive, car pool or
take the bus. A DC bus map is available at
www.wmata.com/metrobus/maps/dc.pdf. When you buy your
ticket, you can let us know where you live, and we may
be able to arrange a pick up (or let us know if you
can do pick ups in your neighborhood). If you are
driving, there are plenty of parking spaces in the
area.

If you can't travel to New York City, subsidize a bus
ticket for a student or someone who is unemployed who
would not otherwise be able to go. Checks and money
orders can be written to "A.N.S.W.E.R." with "bus
subsidy" in the memo (for) line and sent or delivered
to 1247 E St. SE, Washington DC 20003.
